Trail Description:
The walk is rated a 2.

The Jack Creek Meadows Loop is one of the most walked parts of Daley Ranch since it features a very pleasant and easy meadow stroll.

After visiting the historic ranch house, a flat loop around Jack Creek Meadow will view the wildflowers (hopefully) and distant hills. Strollersprepared for dirt trails are OK. Not suitable for wheelchairs.

Daley Ranch
Daley Ranch is one of the most popular places to hike with San Diego county residents.

It’s an old farm property that was donated for public use. There’s the historic ranch house and barns, and miles of beautiful hiking trails.

The views from the high points go all the way to the sea.

Fees:
This walk is a credit-only walk

Credit Only: $3.00 (For either pre-registration, or on the day of the event.)

Miscellaneous:
Restrooms can be found at the Ranch House which will be passed about a third of the way through and again two-thirds of the way through.

Water will be available at the Start/Finish point.

The event will be held regardless of the weather.

No refunds will be given.

** The Footsole Fiends Walking Club is also holding a walk leaving from the same start point as the Rockhoppers walk. This walk is rated 4 and will follow the Boulder and Sage Loop which takes a more adventurous approach to Daley Ranch.

It is a fairly difficult hike so hiking boots and some experience with wilderness hiking is recommended. There is a stiff uphill at the start, but then some terrific ridgeline walking and stellar views.

Participants may take either or both walks on either day Saturday or Sunday.

Pre-Registration:
Pre-registration is not required, but available.

Must be postmarked on or before May 23, 2009.

Make checks payable to San Diego County Rockhoppers.

Fill out the form below and mail to: Steve d'Adolf, 17852 St. Andrews Drive, Poway, Ca 92064
